New from Gail Spence

As loyal readers know...we're big fans of the Gail Spence collection here at Paris West. We've sold the re-issued models to customers from coast to coast... The upside-down rimless was such an ingenious idea for reading glasses and the aluminum design was both durable and timeless...
After 20 plus years...somebody finally had the bright idea..."what if we turn them upside down..or right-side up...and make traditional eyeglasses out of them....BRILLIANT!" At least that's my supposition of how it happened...nobody tells me anything.

anyway we are proud to announce that these are NOW IN STOCK... the upside down/right side up...whatever you want to call them Gail Spence models... stop in and try one on.

We hope everyone is staying safe and doing as well as possible. We are happy to announce that we will be resuming normal hours at our downtown location by appointment. New website is live and the return of Johann Von Goisern

 We are happy to announce that after what seems like a billion starts and stops, that our new website,  pariswestoptical.com  is finally live. It’s basically a rough draft but we will tweak it over time. As always our FACEBOOK  and INSTAGRAM  pages are updated multiple times a month, so make sure to keep your eyes on those for information on all the cool new collections and other news that is happening here at Paris West.  Speaking of news and new collections, we are thrilled to announce that an old favorite from years past, the colorful Johann Von Goisern spectacular specs are back on our shelves. With a new US distributor we are excited about the future of the collection. These are hand made in Austria and are some of the most vibrant and unique designs that we’ve ever offered.  Our initial inventory is limited however, so don’t dawdle, come and claim yours soon!

Long time readers of our blog know what big fans we are of Pro Design and their Gail Spence aluminum re-issue collection. We were thrilled when after 20 years, Pro Design decided to re-issue (and improve upon) these timeless designs from the 80's. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and there will be NO MORE of these beauties manufactured.
